Dr. Torá, is a physician-scientist specialized in cancer research and global health.
She works along with iGan companies building clinical pathways for introduction of the portfolio technologies. She provides support in design, implementation, and guidance for clinical protocols, together with Key Opinion Leaders in Mexico and LatAm.
Her ongoing clinical efforts focus on advancing and introducing novel therapies and technologies into the biomedical field and well-being of populations, including diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of a wide spectrum of cancer malignancies.
She has been awarded several recognitions from leading medical research centers, universities, and associations, such as the Johns Hopkins Fall Institute and Pompeu University, the Mexican Association of Schools and Faculties of Medicine and Panamerican Federation of Medical Faculties, and from the National Academy for Medical Education.
Her collaborative contribution in cancer research was recently recognized as best research project from the HMS Cancer Research Program.
Dr. Torá received her medical degree from Anahuac Mexico University and concluded post-graduate studies with a clinical research specialty and an M.A in medical sciences. She graduated from the High-Impact Cancer Research Program from Harvard Medical School and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, and from the Global Health Delivery Program of T.H. CHAN School of Public Health at Harvard University.
She currently serves as clinical advisor for the National Coordination of Oncology Centers at IMSS, Mexico.
